Covid-19 Update: 10:00 21st March

Following the Government issuing the following guidelines last thing on 20th March 2020:

The following businesses and venues have been asked to close: 

  • Food and drink venues for consumption on-site, such as restaurants and cafes.

  • Drinking establishments, including pubs, bars, nightclubs.

  • Entertainment venues, including cinemas, theatres, concert halls, and bingo halls.

  • Museums and galleries.

  • Spas, wellness centres and massage parlours.

  • Casinos and betting shops.

  • All indoor leisure and sports facilities, including gyms.

It is with much regret that due to current circumstances The Helicopter Museum
 has made the decision to close from immediate affect today, 21st March 2020.

This also includes the cancellation of  ALL scheduled events, Air Expedience Flights and open Cockpit days until further notice

The Helicopter Museum would like to thank our many customers for your support
during this difficult time affecting everyone across the UK.

Open Cockpit Days

The museum has a number of regular open cockpit days when visitors can sit in a helicopter and have the controls explained by a guide

The Helicopter Museum hold events every month throughout the year from vehicle rallies to kids and family fun days
