Welcome to the World's Largest Dedicated Helicopter Museum

We are currently in the process of building a new Visitor Services Building on site that will house new admission, catering and exhibition facilities.

During the construction period the museum is open as normal and our exhibits are unaffected by the work.

Visitor parking has temporarily been moved to our overflow parking area adjacent to the main entrance.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Museum has wheelchair access to all areas and is a wet weather undercover attraction. Free Car and Coach Parking, Picnic Area, Gift Shop and Cafe

The Collection

The Helicopter Museum has over 80 helicopters in the collection with the ones on display housed in the main display building

Visitors can also view a number of conservation projects in progress in the restoration area

Museum Events

Throughout the year the museum hosts
a number of exciting events including:

Air Experience Flights which can be booked on line or directly with the museum

Open Cockpit days offer an opportunity
to learn more about how a helicopter flies while seated in a helicopter

The museum also hosts annual dances, Vehicle Rallies as well as Halloween and Christmas fun days.
